THE MIGHTY WIND

Is it really possible that the Holy Spirit can totally change us? Absolutely. If the Lord could turn mud into man as He breathed the breath of life into man, imagine what He can do by breathing on us again! That is what happened at Pentecost.

“And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.” (Acts 2:2)

Those who gathered in the upper room on the Day of Pentecost felt the breath of almighty God. And as it blew gently upon them, they were transformed. When the Holy Spirit empowers your life, you can expect three things to happen:

1. The Lord will become very close to you.
2. Because of that relationship, your ultimate desire will be to walk in the ways of God.
3. You will be miraculously transformed into a new person.

I am convinced that the Holy Spirit, alive and present on the earth today, is the sign of the covenant God has made with us through the blood of His Son Jesus.

God will fill your life with the fire and glory of His Holy Spirit when you come to Him through the blood. In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. (Ephesians 1:13)

I have met many people who pray, “Lord, send the Holy Spirit upon my life! Fill me with Your power!” The Holy Spirit will come when we honor the death of Jesus Christ and His blood.

For example, in the Old Covenant when blood was offered, God sent fire, and His glory descended. Do you remember what occurred at the dedication of Solomon’s great temple?

When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the temple. (2 Chronicles 7:1)

What was the sign of the Holy Spirit? In the Old Testament it was often fire (Lev. 9:23-24; 1 Kings 18:38; 2 Chron. 7:1) representing God’s all-consuming holiness.

John the Baptist also prophesied:

“I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” (Luke 3:16)

After Jesus shed His blood at Calvary, the Holy Spirit came as fire again. The disciples were gathered together in Jerusalem, as Jesus had commanded:

Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:3-4)

God will fill your life with the fire and glory of His Holy Spirit when you come to Him through the blood.

Andrew Murray, a prolific Christian author who lived from 1828 to 1917, wrote about the relationship between Jesus’ blood and the Holy Spirit in his book The Power of the Blood.

Where the blood is honored in faith or preaching, there the Spirit works; and where He works He always leads souls to the blood.

What Parents Needs To Know

It might interest you to know that people take time to learn everything about everything except important things . we have people who go through the university for four to five years studying about animals and other things but n when you mention  parenting, people just go about it casually. Note these: ⚡ Parenting is a big responsibility . ⚡ Parents are foundations and pillars of a nation . ( greed, revenge, indiscipline among young folks, etc  that we are facing in our nation today are traceable to bad parenting) Parents actually determine the structure of a nation as such i think parents should be taught how to parent children. ⚡Parents are teachers and role model (where you like it or not children around you are actually looking up to you, they copy your actions and try to be like you and therefore you must be a positive example) Some parents should be held responsible for the misbehaviors of their children. Many parents are careles...

Your Family and your Carrier

Most of the time we have seen children from wealthy families living wayward and causing troubles all over town, even Pastor's children becoming leaders of occultic groups on campus and involving themselves in all kinds of evils. Many of those children came from families where their parents have failed in their responsibilities and there are certain salient issues that are eating the family deep and the members of such families are experiencing some form of pain or shame. Many a times the parents are actually are the cause, many homes are thrown into confusion today because both parents or one of them has failed in their duty. Such parents are very good in building other people's home but their own family is gradually fading out. Providing food and shelter for your wife and children is good but you must understand that your family needs your time as well. While you are busy with you carrier as a business man or woman, a religious leader e.t.c. don't...
