Great Lessons From the Great Fool

Text: Luke 12: 16- 21
From the parable Jesus gave us about the certain rich man whose ground brought forth plentifully, we are going to learn lots of lessons. Though the man's ending wasn't a good one, we a going to learn lots of lessons from him, lets  look at the man briefly.
Wise actions of the foolish man
The heading sounds contradicting, isn't?
Look at what Jesus said in luke 16:8
"And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light."
There are some smart ideas that many unbelievers are using to do exploit in our world today. They don't know God yet they are better than some who claim they know and hear from God.
Why?
Because there are certain principles that they working with, that the so called believer has ignored.
The bible says "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee," Hosea 4:6a
They are God's people yet they are crushed, oppressed, robbed  and  destroyed. Its a tragedy to be a child of the most high and still remain under the oppressions of satanic forces.
Psalms 82:5-7 says "[5] They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. [6] I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. [7] But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes."
Many People are being oppressed because of what they don't know , while others are making waves because of what they know, what they have found out.  Lets look at the foolish man's wise actions.
1) He was an  INVESTOR.
"The passage says the ground  of a certain rich man brought  forth plentiful "
⚡He planted something, he understood the principle of investment  and worked  with it. Even though  he was already rich he still invested.
⚡If you don't want to end up  defeated  by  the recent happenings,  invest something, sow seeds today and they will bring forth plentifully  tomorrow.
When I say investment, I don't just mean putting money in a business, studying books is an investment, listening to anointed  or inspirational messages is also an investment.
❗He  invested Resources (Seeds $ money).
❗He invested Time (He  was patient, he waited for the seeds to germinate, grow till harvest)
❗He wasn't  lazy and idle.  He engaged,  his hands, time, money and seeds in profitable  ventures.
2) He was a THINKER.
The passage said "He thought "
⚡ Although  he wasn't a healthy & dynamic  thinker,  but he was a thinker.
⚡He exercised his Mind in finding answers.
❗Thinking  is very  important because your life cannot be better than your level of thinking.
"For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:" prov 23:7
He used his Brain.
❗Thinking  is free, you don't pay to think.
It's is a free gift given to us by God.
✨Not Just thinking,  but healthy and dynamic  thinking . The problem with the man is that he wasn't a dynamic thinker.
3) He INQUIRED.
The passage says he asked "what shall I do? "
⚡When you are confused ask questions don't keep quite.
⚡He sought for an answer in his confusion. The problem  with him is that he inquired from himself instead  of inquiring from God.
There is nothing  wrong with asking  yourself  questions, make sure you are not Empty-Headed.
❗You don't know everything!  Inquire from Him that knows  everything (God)
Jere33:3
⚡Ask God.
Before  making any decision or choice, please  inquire from God,  when you are confused,  inquire from  God.
4) He had PLANS, VISION,  GOAL, TARGET.
❗He didn't Do things accidentally he planned them.
❗Please  plan.
The Foolish  actions  of the Foolish man.
1)  SELF-WORSHIP
❗He inquired  from himself.
❗He was self-confident.
❗He looked upon his material wealth. ❗He Neglected  God,  he didn't  reverence God.
❗He was full of himself .
❗He glorified his soul. He was  the number  one picture / idol is himself.
2) He was COMPLACENT.
❗He had  "I have arrived" mentality.
❗Success and Excellence is not a destination it's a Journey. Never you get to a point where you feel you have arrived.
❗Don't feel relaxed so soon there are more works  to do,  more lives to touch,  more books to read.  don't stop where you are.
3)He couldn't  identify  his PROBLEMS.
❗His achievements became his greatest undoing,  he didn't  know what to do with what he has gotten.
❗He was looking for where  and how to store what he has gotten instead of how to use them to affect others around  him.
⚡Resources  committed  into your hands  by God is not For your consumption alone,  it's also for the impartation of others within  your reach.
⚡God's blessings and favour upon your life is not for storage, its for affecting lives positively.
⚡ Instead of building  an empire for yourself,  build men!. Please build people.
⚡Be a distributor  of  God's blessings not not a collector.
4)He was MATERIALISTIC.
❗Material wealth became his god.
❗Material  wealth became his Number  one Priority.
5)He was in the WRONG COMPANY or  He had NO COMPANY.
✨There was no mention of his friends or family.
✨While he was Erring No one could correct him.
❗The company  you  keep matters. How far you will go will be determined  by the kind of Company you keep.
❗Keep the right company, select you  friends Prove 13:20 and Provide 11:14.

HUMAN EVIL

Genesis 6:5 Matt 15:18-20. When we take good look at the world we live in today, we will appreciate the fact that SCIENCE and TECHNOLOGY, has helped us answer many questions and solved many problems. As technology begins to advance more problems will be solved and more questions will be answered. Men have tried by all means to solve many problems in the world he lives in, some he succeeded in solving, some he was unable to solve and others, he is on the process of solving. "Each time man tries to solve his problem without involving  his The Almighty, he create more problems for himself " In all these there are 3 problems that Science and Technology has not solved and can never solve. These three problems can only Be Solved by the Almighty God (The Creator of Everything). Problem 1: Death Problem 2: Human suffering. Problem 3: Human evil.   I choose to talk human evil at this time.              What is Human evil ? ❗Anything that we do that harm or destroy

NIV EXPOSED

NIV Exposed! by Terry Watkins ". . . ye have PERVERTED the words of the living God. . ." Jeremiah 23:36 This generation has a hunger for perversion. What was perversion just a few years ago, is now "normal". What was "hiding" in the closet is now "parading" in our streets. Perversion has found a welcome home - from the living room, to the White House; from our churches - to even the word of God! Our friend Webster, defines "pervert" as 1. to cause to turn aside or away from what is good or true... 2. to twist the meaning or sense of: misinterpret (Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary, 1977, p.856). A perfect definition of The New International Version (NIV): "to cause to turn aside or away from what is good or true" and "to twist the meaning or sense of". If you doubt that, before you start reading this tract - get the NIV and check
