RISE UP AND TAKE YOUR PLACE John5:1-9

                 INTRODUCTION

The bible passage tells us the story of a man who was held bound in an ugly situation  for 38years and how he miraculously got out of the ugly situation  by simply obeying Jesus' instructions.

How ever while studying,  you will discovered  that it wasn't  the witches and wizards that kept the man in that situation  for so long. His ignorance  did!
There were certain mistakes he repeatedly repeated over the years therefore  he couldn't  move forward.

1)He was in the wrong company.

The bible said "there lay great multitude of impotent folks"
⚡ He was associating with people who had similar problem, they all were of the same limiting mind set.
⚡As long as he was among impotent folks his atmosphere and thinking revolved round their limitations.

2)He waited for Things to Change.

The passage says "In these lay a great multitude of impotent...........waiting for the moving of the water"

⚡Like this man, many people are stranded, battered, bitten, and battered because they are expecting this to change on their own accord and they never remember that nothing moves except a force is applied.

⚡Don't wait for things to happen, make things happen.
Your healing and deliverance cant Just come like that, you have to take it forcefully and with violent faith.
✨You are believing God for a breakthrough in marriage, finance, academics etc. Don't just wait do something tangible, start from some where.

3)He embraced The Tradition of Stagnation.

For 38years he was following one pattern and was expecting a different result.
⚡They allowed their life to be controlled by the movement of water, so when the water did not move their lives did not move. Its an error!

4)He complained About everything and everyone.

They reply he Gave to Jesus' question was a complain.

5) He blamed others his conditions.

⚡He explained that the reason he wasn't getting healed was because others normally over took hiM.

6) He put his trust in man.

He said "I have no man"
��Men are full of disappointments and failure.

Woe to him that put his trust in man

7)He refused to change is thinking.

For 38years he was thinking the same way, little wonder his situation did not change because is thinking did not change.


                 TAKE YOUR PLACE!
If you must take you place in destiny, you must do the opposite of what the man did.
You must be dynamic.
Don't be stagnant at all.

1)ASSOCIATE WITH:
⭐THOSE THAT INSPIRE YOU.
⭐THOSE WHO PROVOKE YOU TO BECOME BETTER
⭐THOSE WHO HAVE WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR.

2)MAKE THINGS HAPPEN, DON'T WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN!

3)BREAK OUT FROM TRADITIONS  THAT SPONSORS STAGNATION!

4) COME PLAIN TO JESUS, DON'T COMPLAIN TO JESUS!

5)TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR LIFE, STOP BLAMING OTHERS, STOP GIVING NICE EXCUSES!

6)TRUST IN GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART!

7)RENEW YOUR THINKING!

(You can only renew your thinking of you are a student of God's word)

May the good God, the father of Jesus Christ give you the enabling power to put to practice what you have Just read.  God bless you !
